The Home Office

"Gill worked as a communications and Stakeholder Management specialist for the Home Office's Shared Services Programme team from April 2005 to March 2006. The Programme is an internal change Programme affecting all Home Office staff. During that time Gill delivered very high quality work, to tight deadlines.


Gill developed a major communications plan during her time on the programme. She showed excellent planning skills, consulting with relevant team members and stakeholders to develop comprehensive plans. She was sensitive to Home Office culture, whilst at the same time recognising that the Programme was about changing that culture.


Gill was instrumental in developing and operating a stakeholder management approach and tool kit. Working with the senior team and with key stakeholders, Gill made a significant impact on the programmes ability to gain support and momentum.

Gill willingly used her previous experience as a team leader to advise the internal communications manager and the senior management team. In addition, Gill was always professional, punctual and polite and I would be very happy to have Gill working for my Programme Team again."
